Privacy Policy — AdForge

1. What we collect

Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
Content you submit: product page URLs, the product data we scrape from them, scripts you write or edit, and the audio/video files generated from them.
Usage and billing data: your credit balance and transaction history, which AI provider/model produced a given script or voiceover, and render job status.
Payment data: handled entirely by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy — we do not receive or store your card details.

2. How we use it

To operate the Service: generating your ad videos, maintaining your account and credit balance, sending account-related email (e.g. a welcome email, purchase confirmations), and diagnosing failures so we can refund credits automatically when a render fails on our side.

3. Who we share it with

Generating a video sends the relevant parts of your product/script/audio data to third-party processors solely to produce that video. Depending on which providers are configured, this may include:

Script generation: Google (Gemini), Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic — receive your product data and script text.
Voice generation: ElevenLabs (and our own self-hosted Kokoro service, which does not send data anywhere external) — receive script text and produce audio.
Avatar-mode video: fal.ai (hosting the MuseTalk/LatentSync models) — receives generated audio and a bundled stock video clip, returns a lip-synced video.
Stock media: Pexels, Pixabay — receive search queries derived from your product (not your personal data) to find background footage.
Payments: Lemon Squeezy — receives what's needed to process a purchase (email, purchase amount); handles your payment details directly.
Email: Gmail — used to send transactional account email.

We do not sell your personal data. Only public product data (not your name or email) is sent to free-tier AI providers.

4. Where data is stored

Account data, scripts, and metadata are stored in our MongoDB database. Generated audio and video files are stored in our file storage. Both are hosted on our infrastructure provider's servers.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and generated content within 30 days, except where we're required to keep records (e.g. transaction records for tax/accounting purposes).

7. Your rights

You can review and edit your account details, and download or delete your generated videos, from your dashboard. You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data from Account Settings, or by emailing support@webuildcrew.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, objection) under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — contact us to exercise them.

8. Children's privacy

AdForge is not directed at, and we don't knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll update the “Last updated” date above when this policy changes, and post the new version here.
